A Letter From Coach Kasey Olenberger
2nd Annual Summer Baseball Training Program

There will be five age groups of 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U and 13U made up of 10 players for each age group.  Our goal is to keep the groups smaller in order for the players to get as many reps as well as the opportunity to play and master as many positions as possible.  With this approach we intend on taking every player through a full evaluation weekly as well as at the end of the 4 weeks training.

Each team will have a Head coach as well as 1 assistant coach throughout the duration of the 4 weeks.  This does not mean that each age group will only be with this coach the whole time, we will rotate coaches daily amongst the groups to ensure each player gets a chance to work with every coach.

Each morning will begin with a meeting with all players and coaches followed by a Big League Spring Training stretch program.  Agility work followed by Jaeger Band routine which leads us into our throwing program.  A proper throwing program which teaches the players how to play catch with a purpose. This is not only stressed upon, it’s a must for every players development.  This part of the workout will be the same daily!

Itineraries will change from day to day according to what our focus for that day is.  Daily workouts will include everything you can imagine baseball.

Each day the kids will have a 35 minute lunch break in which they will need to pack a lunch.

We will have access to a classroom daily in which the kids will be taken through “Baseball I.Q.” tests, videos, baseball documentary movies and more.

We feel that Baseball I.Q. is not only part of the game, it’s the difference between good and great!  We expect that every player will leave knowing that they became one step closer to being great on a daily basis!!!

We will stress the importance of what it means to be a good teammate on and off the field.  How to appropriately be an active participant in the dugout during games .  How to become the best well rounded ball players they can be.  With the opportunity to play so much baseball these days we feel that taking a step back into the training side of baseball is vital for their growth.  Not only will they have a better understanding of the game but they will also know how to properly prepare for the game through their training.  Understanding how to put “the game” into practice in vital to ones growth as ball player.  These training sessions will help the players identify what their strong points are but more importantly what their weak points as well.  By Doing so, we will take each player the proper skills along with the drills to enhance your players game.

Our staff is one of the best around and I have confidence that each coach will help elevate your players game.

Looking forward to working with each and every single one of you who attend.

Coach Testimonials

I’ve had the privilege of working with Kasey and admire the hard work and attention to detail that goes into what he teaches. With Kasey’s professional background he is able to teach his kids the same things I myself am learning throughout my young professional career.

Robbie Rowland
St. Louis Cardinals Organization

I have known Kasey Since he was baseball player at SRJC. I was also fortunate enough to manage him when he was a minor league player in the Florida Marlins Organization.  We won a AA championship together and he was a huge part of a very special team that included numerous future Major League players.  because of Kasey’s work ethic, perseverance and “grind it out” mentality, he enjoyed a great professional baseball career that took him all over the world.  Kasey’s light hearted personality and charisma is infectious and he is a natural leader.  I recommend anyone and everyone to work with Kasey as his passion and knowledge of baseball is unparalleled.

Brandon Hyde
1st Base Coach Chicago Cubs

I have known Kasey for close to a decade. Everyone knows of his experience with MLB organizations. I think something that gets under appreciated is his experience in international baseball. Being able to adapt and compete with and against different cultures. Being able to communicate and excel with different people and have them understand who you are is a huge component of teaching. You cant explain the same thing to every kid. You have to be able to understand each individual and understand how he/she processes things. Kasey has a great ability to relate to so many different people of all ages.

Just wanted to shoot you a quick email and tell you and all the coaches from the camp. THANK YOU!!  I know Lucas was exhausted, but it was exhausted in a good way. I could see his confidence build every day.  He has been telling me about all the new things he learned during that week and how he thinks he is a better player because of the camp. Hope you have a great rest of the summer!

Dylan had such a great time at camp last week. You really went all out for those kids. The coaching was great, the apparel was great, the drinks the snacks, the prizes, it was all great. I just wanted to thank you and tell you how much it means for us for Dylan to be learning from people like you that really know baseball.
  • Kimberly Hoots Guy
Cody had the best time at this camp.  He was excited for it and didn't have any negative things to say about it.  It has been the first baseball camp that he hasn't said that he was bored at some point.  He actually would come home and tell us what he did for the day and was excited to go and was sad when it was over.
