There will be five age groups of 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U and 13U made up of 10 players for each age group. Our goal is to keep the groups smaller in order for the players to get as many reps as well as the opportunity to play and master as many positions as possible. With this approach we intend on taking every player through a full evaluation weekly as well as at the end of the 4 weeks training.
Each team will have a Head coach as well as 1 assistant coach throughout the duration of the 4 weeks. This does not mean that each age group will only be with this coach the whole time, we will rotate coaches daily amongst the groups to ensure each player gets a chance to work with every coach.
Each morning will begin with a meeting with all players and coaches followed by a Big League Spring Training stretch program. Agility work followed by Jaeger Band routine which leads us into our throwing program. A proper throwing program which teaches the players how to play catch with a purpose. This is not only stressed upon, it’s a must for every players development. This part of the workout will be the same daily!
Itineraries will change from day to day according to what our focus for that day is. Daily workouts will include everything you can imagine baseball.
Each day the kids will have a 35 minute lunch break in which they will need to pack a lunch.
We will have access to a classroom daily in which the kids will be taken through “Baseball I.Q.” tests, videos, baseball documentary movies and more.
